GroundGlass (“the App”) is developed and maintained by Cunbin Cui (“we”, “us”). We respect your privacy and have built this App so that your data stays on your device.
Summary
- We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs.
- All shooting records, equipment, projects, photos, and notes are stored locally on your device.
- The App works fully offline. No account or login is required.
Information We Do Not Collect
GroundGlass does not collect:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, account credentials)
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Crash reports beyond what Apple may collect through your iOS settings
- Network telemetry of any kind
We do not operate any servers that receive your data. The App does not upload your content in the foreground or background.
How the App Uses Device Permissions

For map display and reverse geocoding the App calls Apple's system services (MapKit, CLGeocoder). Those calls are subject to Apple's own privacy policy, not ours. The App does not send your queries to any server we operate.
Where Your Data Is Stored
All shooting records, equipment libraries, projects, photos, and other content are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. You can:
- Export your data as a JSON file at any time via Settings → Data Backup & Analysis → Data Backup and Recovery.
- Import a previously exported JSON file to restore or migrate.
- Delete the App to remove all stored data immediately.
We have no access to any of this content.
Third-Party Services
GroundGlass bundles no third-party SDKs (no analytics, advertising, attribution, or social SDKs).
The App may open the App Store using system URLs to recommend our other photography apps (MeterGlass, TimerGlass, FieldGlass, DevGlass, MatGlass). These links pass no personal information to us; they simply ask the system to present an App Store page.
Children's Privacy
GroundGlass is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If the App's behavior or this policy changes in a meaningful way, this page will be updated and the effective date above will be revised. Continued use of the App after the update constitutes acceptance of the new policy.

本应用如何使用设备权限

为了显示地图与反向地理编码，本应用会调用 Apple 系统服务（MapKit、CLGeocoder）。这些调用受 Apple 自身隐私政策约束，与我们无关。本应用不会向我们运营的任何服务器发送查询。
数据存储位置
所有拍摄记录、器材库、项目、照片和其他内容均使用 Apple 的 SwiftData 本地存储于你的设备。你可以：
- 通过「设置 → 数据备份和分析 → 数据备份与恢复」随时将数据导出为 JSON 文件。
- 导入之前导出的 JSON 文件以恢复或迁移数据。
- 删除应用即可立即清除所有已存储的数据。
我们无法访问上述任何内容。
第三方服务
GroundGlass 不集成任何第三方 SDK（无分析、广告、归因或社交 SDK）。
本应用可能通过系统 URL 打开 App Store，以推荐我们其他摄影类应用（MeterGlass、TimerGlass、FieldGlass、DevGlass、MatGlass）。这些链接不会向我们传递关于你的任何信息，仅是请求系统打开相应的 App Store 页面。
儿童隐私
GroundGlass 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，也不会主动收集任何人的个人信息，包括儿童。
政策更新
当应用行为或本政策发生重要变化时，本页面将进行更新，并修改上述生效日期。继续使用本应用即视为接受更新后的政策。
