MeterGlass

MeterGlass is a light meter application for film photographers. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how MeterGlass handles your information.

In short: MeterGlass does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

MeterGlass requires access to your device's camera solely for the purpose of measuring light and calculating exposure values in real time. Camera data is:

• Processed entirely on your device
• Used only for real-time light metering calculations
• Never shared with any third party

MeterGlass does not capture photos or record videos. In Zone System mode, a single camera frame may be temporarily held in memory for multi-point metering; it is discarded when you leave Zone mode and is never saved or transmitted unless you explicitly use the Share feature described below.

MeterGlass can generate a metering record image (a “share card”) at your explicit request in Zone System mode. This image may include the frozen viewfinder frame, your readings, and exposure settings. It is generated entirely on your device.

• The image is only created when you tap the Share button.
• Saving to your photo library happens only if you choose “Save Image” in the system share sheet. For this, MeterGlass requests add-only photo library access: the app can only add the image you chose to save, and cannot read, browse, or modify anything in your photo library.
• Sharing to other apps is handled by the iOS system share sheet and is entirely under your control.
• The QR code on the share card is generated locally and simply links to the MeterGlass App Store page; no network request is made by the app.

MeterGlass does not collect any data, including but not limited to:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Location data
• Usage analytics or statistics
• Device identifiers
• Crash reports or diagnostics

MeterGlass stores your preferences (such as ISO setting, aperture step, default aperture, and language preference) locally on your device using standard system storage (UserDefaults). This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to the developer or any third party
• Can be removed by deleting the app

MeterGlass does not connect to the internet. The app operates entirely offline with no network requests of any kind.

MeterGlass does not use any third-party services, including:

• Analytics platforms
• Advertising networks
• Crash reporting tools
• Cloud storage services

MeterGlass does not collect any data from any user, including children under the age of 13.

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

• 仅当您在系统分享面板中选择“存储图像”时，图片才会保存到相册。为此 MeterGlass 申请的是“仅添加照片”权限：应用只能添加您选择保存的这张图片，无法读取、浏览或修改您相册中的任何内容。
• 分享到其他应用由 iOS 系统分享面板完成，完全由您控制。
• 分享卡片上的二维码由本地生成，仅指向 MeterGlass 的 App Store 页面；应用不会发起任何网络请求。

MeterGlass 不收集任何数据，包括但不限于：

• 个人信息（姓名、邮箱、电话号码等）
• 位置数据
• 使用分析或统计数据
• 设备标识符
• 崩溃报告或诊断信息

MeterGlass 将您的偏好设置（如 ISO、光圈步进、默认光圈、语言偏好等）存储在设备本地的标准系统存储中（UserDefaults）。这些数据：

• 不会离开您的设备
• 开发者或任何第三方无法访问
• 删除应用即可清除

MeterGlass 不连接互联网。本应用完全离线运行，不发起任何网络请求。

MeterGlass 不使用任何第三方服务，包括：

• 数据分析平台
• 广告网络
• 崩溃报告工具
• 云存储服务

MeterGlass 不收集任何用户的数据，包括 13 岁以下的儿童。
